CONCEPTUAL DESIGN

The goal of the conceptual design phase is to establish the basic size and massing of a building, or for an interior project the focus would be on suite size and overall layout of programmatic elements that will become part of the project. This phase includes digital modeling and sketching, and the product becomes the basis for the scope of work the design team will use to further define the overall project.

During this phase, the our team will research the site constraints further, develop the basic exterior massing and look of the building, and begin the rudimentary layout of the interior spaces. Our goal is to consider viable options as part of creating a code-compliant design that is aesthetically pleasing and fits your needs as the client. Two-way communication between your team and our team will be key.

Typically this is an iterative process and depending on the project scope, and may vary in timeline based on this unique aspect of each project. Our team goal is to finalize the overall project scope to allow it to be discussed not just with our internal client/architect team, but with engineers, external partners, planners, and other parties.
